Tactile Stud circular groove pattern in stainless steel - 25mm diameter
Tactile Paving is a system of textured ground surface indicators found on many footpaths, stairs and train stations platforms to warn of a hazard to blind and visually impaired pedestrians. Tactile warnings provide a distinctive surface pattern of "truncated domes" or cones which are detectable by long cane or underfoot, which are used to alert people with vision impairments. The studs have been tested and the tactile paving stainless steel studs have passed the slip test in both wet and dry conditions. The studs are fixed by drilling (12mm drill bit) the paving and gluing into position. Fully compliant to the building regulations and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). This version adds distinctive circular grooves into the top to further aid recognition and enhance appearance.
